Van Kranti (Van means forest and Kranti means revolution) is a revolution where we are using direct action, technology and power of social media to spread the awareness on the urgency of climate change and its impact and how reforestation can help slow down or even stop the climate change with the help of other relevant actions. For that we will also pursue governments, businesses and communities with pro climate policies and actions as part of the climate revolution.
We are helping communities build sustainable businesses, income sources and build new skills for their communities which will be related to planting trees and saving forests and reforestation. Currently I have joined LGT Vyara and had an amazing conversations with them about working together on this and other environmental projects.
Community projects in pipeline includes seed ball making, forest based product making, eco tourism, drone operator, drone making, web and digital work promoting Van Kranti.
Building practical, low-cost climate solutions using technology and innovations with the help of local communities.
First project for this is Drone based Seed bomb delivery system is successfully executed in Haripur and Bhit Khurd villages of Tapi district, Gujarat, India. This was done in collaboration with Ahmedabad based Drone manufacturing company Z Axis unmanned machines pvt. Ltd. This was done in presence of villagers and village elders of both villages, local forest officers and other local environmentalists. For long term we will build a drone workshop in Vyara with the help of local technical collage students and engineers, which is the main town near Haripur village/Ucchal area where this re-forestation project is starting. This will provide new skills and employment for local youth and villagers.
